When Paul Mengert, AMG (Association Management Group) CEO, founded his firm in 1984 in Greensboro, North Carolina, he did so as a tribute to the city, state and region where he was born and raised. He truly loves his community and he believes strongly in giving back. In fact, he has dedicated every aspect of his life to serving his community, especially when it comes to education. He has a lot of love for education and he loves oto pass on everything he’s learn.

Paul Mengert’s educational journey began when he majored in Political Science and Communications at the University of North Carolina - where else but in Greensboro - many years ago. Since there, he has devoted the bulk of his career to education and training. To this day, he continues to teach classes, not just n his function as CEO of a prominent homeowners’ association management training firm, but also as part of a Management Development Program for the Harvard Business School Alumni Association based down the road, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Paul Mengert, AMG CEO, doesn’t just run Association Management Group, he also teaches what he knows extensively to anyone who sees value in education. Paul has taught extensively with the Harvard Business Management Development Program in Greensboro, a program that has been used by dozens of local companies as diverse as Bank of America, Duke Energy, Microsoft, and even AMG. Paul Mengert loves being part of such a great program because he likes both sides of education, in that he not only teaches others, but he learns from others, as well.

A primary focus for Paul Mengert is on education, so that everyone can be the best they can be. AMG is a management company, but quite often, it functions as a major training program. Paul founded AMG in Greensboro is because he believes it is important to give back to the community, whether you do it personally or through business activity or a little of both. He has become a highly respected real estate and business leader in his hometown of Greensboro.
